Manipulation a key to success in Politics

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announces its monetary policy and has decided to keep interest rates at 13.25 percent. According to SBP Governor, the fiscal year inflation will be 12%. The financial year will also have to bear the burden of inflation. Due to ever-increasing inflationary pressure, the public is suffering and the poor are left behind, far from our expectations from PTI government.

Inflation is rising so much that people are being forced to commit suicide. Government ministers are acknowledging this grim reality, contrary to their pre-polls claims. Controlling inflation will require taking  immediate, practical steps.

Political leadership is liar of next level; PTI, PML-N, PPP and others, there is no difference when it comes to greasing their own and others palms to pursue their political tenure.

Recently, Federal Minister for railway Sheikh Rasheed also expressed concern by uttering that this is inflation that we are more concerned than opposition, joint opposition indeed. This is inflation which is causing too much price hike and nauseating to the core.

Imran Khan called erstwhile governments corrupt and repulsive, but frankly speaking even during their tenures, the prices of products of daily usage were not so high as they are today.

Inflation is one of the main problems for the masses. Suicide rate among people has risen to an unimaginable extent. Although suicide is forbidden in Islam but people are embracing it, which shows the religious ties are also getting thinner day by day, and the credit primarily goes to the government. Political leadership is liar of next level; PTI, PML-N, PPP and others, there is no difference when it comes to greasing their own and others palms to pursue their political tenure.

Take the example of PPP which eagerly talks about development in Sindh but in reality it is utterly contrary to their sayings. Thousands of died of malnutrition in Sindh especially in Tharparkar.

Imran Khan talked of state of Medina, does he even know that it is based on taking practical steps than giving only lip services when it comes to solving masses’ issues.

In the state of Medina, landowners/mill owners do not rule but common man; those who when die leave a very minimal amount as their possessions. Here are our politicians who are attempting through one way or the other to increase their salaries from some hundreds of thousands to millions.

Pakistan is a country where 70 percent of its population is living below the poverty line, with at least 25 million children out of school and with stunted growth. And here are our politicians under PTI government who want pay raise. Our ruling elite is spending a lavish lifestyle and the poor are earning only some thousands per month but our rulers many a millions. In short, manipulation is key to success in Pakistan’s politics, once one gains power he does not care of rising inflation. Who cares of masses?
