We are a sad generation with happy pictures. In today’s world, the impact of social media is far beyond one can imagine. The consequences of this impact in the coming days can be more pathetic and drastic. To express one’s emotions and feelings people are dependent on social media.
Upload status based on quotations once consider to describe a certain event or to understand the mystery behind specific situation but now our generation used it to convey their feelings to people. It’s become easy to find out what’s going on with individuals while seeing the content they share with their social media accounts, their liking, and dislikes.
But on the other hand, it created a state of confusion where the same individuals when asked about their shared feeling they denied and pretend to be happy, sad or in between. In older ages when these gadgets don’t exist and there are no such apps but still people have closer bonds.
People have more ideas to share but in reality, they have no time to do so practically. They have confined themselves to these apps and become the prison of cells. Without having all these accounts one does not feel compatible or able to survive in this global world.
Without having long conversations and sharing pictures and videos that’s what’s going in their lives they still have real instincts to know one’s condition. They share their happiness and sorrows as well. But now using emojis and express your feelings towards each other, or uploading videos of private life happenings that’s not securing the time or make you available for others all the time it’s just making an illusion of someone’s presence and creating an environment of complexes.
We are all witness in this age of globalization when things are just on your fingers and our generation claimed to be involved in a number of social activities by joining different social groups they are highly dependent for their success and encouragement on their social media platforms, that in other way converting humans in robots. Our generation is not able to fight for something physically rather put a status to condemn and hit the like button in support of certain events.
Now the situation isn’t good or bad it’s just confined to humor as youngsters of this age don’t take things seriously they developed the culture of “just raised voice” and “Touches of Sarcasm”. Despite having the huge following on different social media accounts or in the race of like’s people become more lonely and depressive.
People have more ideas to share but in reality, they have no time to do them practically. They have confined themselves to these apps and become the prison of cells. Without having all these accounts one does not feel compatible or able to survive in this global world. Unfortunately, those who have invented these applications are not concerned that how they are exploiting the lives of people rather to making money. They have even labeled them beneficial to share and exchange of ideas for the good future.
These social media apps producing sick minds that are intelligent enough to know the pros and cons but happy to live in the fantasy world, which is far from reality and we have living examples of this in the form that whatever happened around world people used social media accounts for protest. They came to know about every fashion and happening through these platforms they no more book magazine or newspaper reader.
