Woman And Society

Breathing in a patriarchy, watching men dominating the society, it will not be wrong if a woman desires to dominate the society. Men dominated society easily because of their population and somehow, their characteristics are the reason behind it. In my mind a question arose that if woman dominated society, what would it look like. To acquire my answer, I turned the yellow pages of history. The chronicles state that woman has not left any stone unrolled. She has played a dominant role in all fields of life.

The beginning of language is considered a natural process but Sappho played a vital role in promoting it. Her lyric poetry made her one of the greatest poet.

The palace of Delhi was boomed with the giggles of eleven Princes and one Princess. The intelligence of the Princess dominated over her eleven brothers. She was crowned with the throne of the king. Razia Sultana, Sultan of Delhi, ruled and fought for four years without revealing her identity.

Behind the convent walls, her world was limited but her thoughts were bottomless. She wrote and composed revelatory material that the king, bishops and popes consulted her. Hildegard of Bingen, the woman with visionary thoughts, still influences people of today by her write on.

The world was medicated and treated by men. There was no female to treat medically. She desired to do something new and became the first female doctor in the world. Elizabeth Blackwell was the woman who paved way for women in the field of medicine.

The Mosque was flooded with blood. She could have merely condemned on television screens. Jacinda Ardern reflected that humanity should be one’s priority by consoling with the victim’s family.

The list of Nobel Laureates portrays that a woman moved heaven and earth and conquered in all fields. She is as hardworking as Maria Curie and as humble as Mother Teresa, as considerate as Dorthy Hodgkin and as vigorous as Rosalind Franklin. She can play like Sania Mirza, her voice can echo like Madonna, she is as determined as Helen Keller and as supportive as Michelle Obama. She leads the nation like Hazrat Ayesha (R.A.) and ministers a state like Benazir Bhutto. She fights with fate like Muniba Mazari and saves the world like Betty Williams. She turns down all pointing fingers like Malala Yousafzai and becomes a voice like Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy.

The saga of woman shows that if she is given a chance to dominate, then this flower will blossom with its full zeal and zest. She is able to achieve goals and can run the business of life, if given the chance, she can do way better than men.

    Women deserve more in our society. Women are the main ingredient to build a society and if she wiil be deprived of her rights than the society will not be strong enough. I appreciate your writing power and I hope that your writings may bring change in our society.
