Ph.D. students are living in a 6th dimension. They feel that they are in a new dimension in another world. They are the people who are aliens for the family because the family doesn’t see them quite often. Trying to find them is harder because you have to go to a dimension in which books and data is present not a person.
These poor people always have a long list of work waiting for them. When they start to do the current work, another list auto-generates for the next day which takes them to shock. The supervisors call them and they are there in a minute. If they were in high school they would have probably flown away, but this is Ph.D. they can’t run they can’t hide anywhere. And if you are curious about their social life then let me tell you they don’t have it at all.
Usually, people think that Ph.D. students are super brilliant and I-know-everything creatures. They say you are a doctor. You would be genius, or you would be a super nerd. Some are also of the opinion that Ph.D. is not that tough. it’s just a piece of cake. I only wish they had the abilities to read the thoughts of the Ph.D.
Another side of Ph.D.’s is that they become mentally ill with the passage of time. They are psychologically depressed and have a lot of strain and burden on their head. Having no social life also makes the person depressed. They are always surrounded by the books which, surely, does not put a very refreshing impact on their mental health.
It takes a lot of effort for a person to do Ph.D. Ph.D. is a full-time job and if you are tough and a hard worker then it is good for you but if you are not then try to make the right decision at the right time.
